Please provide one interesting tidbit about the ranch owners or staff...Manger’s Tim and Julia are just great people and along with the other Staff Michelle, Patricia, Bull and wranglers Brad, Jena and Shane you feel at home from the first day.
The Ranch is set up to give the feel of an old time Western Town, with the corrals and horses and cattle just outside and the Solon a short walk down the boardwalk and not far from your room, a perfect way to end the day.
What makes this riding program stand out...What makes it standout is the feeling of home and friendly treatment. By the time I left I truly felt like I was one of the family. This is an amazing place with all the comforts of home in the middle of the desert at the foot of the Dragoon Mountains. They have created a secluded rustic place with all the comforts of home at the same time. Amazing job. What about this ranch brings guests back...I would say what would bring people back to this Ranch is the hospitality and the experience that The Apache Spirit Ranch Offers. This is one of the best vacation I have been on. When you break it down to the Basics of a Vacations this is hands down the best, and I have traveled on the Queen Elizabeth II. As far as staff, food, and hospitality this ranks very high in my book. Another bit of information you'd like Top50 to know...The Food is good simple (only in discription) Cowboy fair with more than adequate portions. Great meals like Rib Eye, Prime Rib, Salmon, Spare Ribs, and Chili just to name a few and Big Cowboy breakfasts might have you heading back to the gym when you get home. Would you return...I am most defiantly heading back and soon, I really didn’t want to leave :-(
Would you recommend this ranch to others...
I would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat. This is even great for someone who is on the fence about a Ranch experience vacation. There is more than enough to do even if you don’t want to ride horses. There are a ton of activities in a very short distance so it makes it a great home base for short day trips around the area, with places like Tombstone and the OK Corral re enactments , Sierra Vista, Bisbee and the Copper Mine Tucson is an hour away, Kartchner Caverns a living limestone cavern system. This is an experience for the horse lover as well and someone seeking a great Western History tour of the Old West. A great place for Kids and Adults.
