A guest recounts, "The pack trip was well organised and Jeff and Carla did their best to make us feel comfortable and well looked after. What was also special was having a pack mule and 2 dogs with us. That added a real authentic “Old West” flavour to the trip. We were also amazed at the beauty of the countryside that we saw. Really spectacular," Ronnie and Ciska Holtslag (The Netherlands)

Another guest recounts, "Riding through the bison was awe inspiring. Such powerful animals roaming peacefully over the prairie doing whatever it is that bison are supposed to do. To see the herds from horseback is amazing. As we were in small quiet groups we managed to get up really close to them. The young males would then move in even closer as they were really inquisitive. We are really privileged that we were able to experience seeing large herds of bison up close on horseback. There are not a lot of places left in the world were you are able to do so", satisfied traveller.

Intermediate riding ability is encouraged, but not required.

Space is limited to 8 participants.

Cost: $2,995pp Includes all meals, lodging and ranch experiences
