Start the new year with a delectable gourmet dinner followed by decadent desserts, live entertainment, and a special champagne toast at midnight complete with a fireworks extravaganza. If you want even more excitement, try a nighttime horseback ride or ice fishing on Elk Meadow Pond. Other outdoor adventures include skijoring, team penning, or a powdery winter horseback ride; a dogsled ride across the mountain tops; a photo safari; and sledding, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing on or off ranch. For fly-fishing enthusiasts, cast a line along the shores of the Bitterroot River on our private ranch or ice fish on one of the on-site ponds. Snowmobile or put your feet on some downhill skis in the fresh, powdery slopes and groomed trails of nearby Lost Trail Powder Mountain, offering some of the most exhilarating winter thrills this side of the Continental Divide. Of course, you cannot replace a day of relaxing with a good book next to a cozy fire . . . also highly recommended.
Artist Workshop Weekends: Experience Inspiration in the Rocky Mountains
The nation’s most prominent Western artists will travel to Triple Creek Ranch, in the Bitterroot Mountain Range of the Montana Rockies, to lead an innovative series of weekend workshops. The one-of-a-kind program offers art enthusiasts an opportunity to work side-by-side with artists known for their mastery in watercolors, oils, pastels, sculpting, and more. Watch, learn, and paint with these talented artists in a setting of dramatic autumn beauty with the Montana Rockies for inspiration. Steelhead Fly-Fishing Celebration
Join Craig Barrett, owner and avid fly-fisherman, on a four-day outdoor sporting event, including two days of guided fly-fishing along the Salmon River and a day trip to Hamilton Trap Club. In the evenings, gather for cocktails, fine dining, and swapping of fish tales.
